Francis E. (Sr.) Trusky

Francis E. “Moose” Trusky, Sr., 91 of Braddock Hills, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023.  Frank was born in Braddock, Pa. to his late parents Andrew and Susan (Kupetz) Trusky.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters Susan and Pauline; brothers Andrew, Michael, Joseph, Alexander, George, Thomas, Albert, and John.  Frank was a graduate of Braddock High School lettering in Football.  Frank continued his football career at Kansas State until he was drafted into the U.S.  Army during the Korean War and proudly served his Country.  He was an electrician for the Union Railroad until his retirement in 1991.  Frank loved coaching baseball and was an avid Golfer.  Frank is survived by his loving wife of 66 yrs. Anna Marie (Sabol) Trusky; his sons Fran (Cindy) Trusky, of Rosslyn Heights and Ken (Lori) Trusky, of Plum; grandchildren Abigail (Christopher) Zenz, Zachary Trusky, Amber Trusky, and Jacob Trusky.  Family and friends will be received at the Robert P. Karish Funeral Home, Brinton Rd. and 4th St. Braddock Hills, (412-271-3430) on Friday from 4 until 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church-St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 1600 Brinton Rd., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15221. Interment with Military Honors will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Halcyon Senior Living, 528 Dewey Avenue, Bridgeville, PA  15017.
