Mary "IDA" (Tougher) Hardin

Mary "Ida" (Tougher) Hardin, 98, of Braddock Hills passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 29, 2023.  She was a daughter of the late John and Ethel (Burkhart) Tougher.  She was married to the late Charles Hardin and lived all of her life in Braddock Hills.  She is preceded in death not only by her parents, and husband Charles, but all of her siblings, John, Martin and William Tougher, Bernadine Capies and Marcie Flaherty and her grandson John Weber.  Ida was a life long parishioner of St. Maurice Church (now St. Joseph the Worker Parish) in Forest Hills.  She enjoyed spending time in Florida with Charles and other family members.  Ida loved spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.  She is survived by her children, John (Mary) Hardin of Kane, PA., Janet Weber of Braddock Hills, Elaine (Gary) Taylor of Braddock Hills and Bill Hardin of Aiken, South Carolina.  Family and friends will be received FRIDAY ONLY  DECEMBER 1st from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Robert P. Karish Funeral Home, Brinton Rd. and Fourth Street, Braddock Hills (412) 271-3430.  Interment to follow in All Saints Braddock Cemetery in Braddock Hills.
