SHAFFER, RUTH MARIE (Williamson)

Of Swissvale, on May 2, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Walter Shaffer.  Dear Mother of Dan (Paula) Wright of Fla., Denise (Kevin) Fox of Trafford, Donna (Cliff) O’Leary of Washington, Mary Ann Wright of Swissvale,  Elizabeth (Bo) Fulmer of West Mifflin, Vivian (Duane) Seaman of Swissvale, and the late Barbara Wright.  Step-Mother of Diane Shaffer, Debbie (Andy) Clark, and the late Buddy Shaffer.  Grandmother of 21 and Great Grandmother of 23.  Daughter of the late Logan & Anna (O’Boyle) Williamson.  Sister of Dee Reiter and Sr. Callista (Order of St. Joseph-Baden) and the late John & Richard Williamson.  Ruth was employed at Life Care Hospital as an LPN for 34 years.  Volunteered actively at Madonna del Castello Church, Eucharist Minister, Ladies of Charity, Church Women United, Pro-life Groups, Meals on Wheels, Soup Kitchen, Bethlehem Haven, and the Food  Bank.  Family & friends received at the Robert P. Karish Funeral Home, Brinton Rd. & 4th St. Braddock Hills (412-271-3430) on Wed. 6-8PM and Thurs. 2-4 & 6-8PM.
