Dorothy M. (Brant) Hempfield

Dorothy M. (Brant) Hempfield, 99, of North  Braddock passed away peacefully to eternal life on Saturday July 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.  She was born in Derry, Pa to the late Samuel and Hattie Brant.  She was married to the late John Hempfield.  Her greatest love was her family and friends.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She leaves to celebrate her life’s legacy, her children. Carrie Washington, Clarence (Tanya) Hempfield, Jerry (Melony) Hempfield, Margaret Tucker, Thomas Hempfield and Vaughn (Theresa) Hempfield; a total of 71 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Betty Eason and Frances Hempfield, sons Arthur Hempfield, Robert Hempfield, John Hempfield and Herman Hempfield.  Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on TUESDAY August 1, 2023 at the Robert P. Karish Funeral Home, Brinton Road and Fourth Street, Braddock Hills (412) 271-3430, where a service will be held on WEDNESDAY at 11 am.  Internment to follow.
