Helen M. (Colaric) Bursick

Helen M. (Colaric) Bursick, 99, just a few months shy of 100, formerly of Swissvale, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 19, 2023.  She was born in Rankin to the late George and Mary Colaric.  She was preceded in death by her husband John Bursick, son Larry Bursick and her sister Margaret Colaric.  Helen was a member of the Christian Mothers in Visitation of the BVM Church in Rankin, a founding member of the Croatian Committee at Kennywood Park and a 50 year plus member of Croatian Fraternal Union.  She was the beloved mother of Dr. Daniel (Michele) Bursick and Maryellen (Walter) Bratkowski; dear grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of three; mother-in-law of Christine Bursick.  Family and friends will be received from 2-8 pm on Wednesday at the Robert P. Karish Funeral Home, Inc., 1300 Fourth Street, Braddock Hills (412) 271-3430.  Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Word of God Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7446 McClure Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15218.  Interment to follow in All Saints Braddock Cemetery.
