Jill (O'Masta) Toomey

Jill (O’Masta) Toomey, 56, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.  Jill, a resident of Braddock Hills, was born on January 23, 1965 to John R. O’Masta and June (Lowe) O’Masta.  Jill was a loving and devoted wife, to Richard M. Toomey.  She will sadly be missed by her precious dog Buddy.  She is survived by her mother, June (Lowe) O’Masta, and was preceded by her father John R. O’Masta.  Jill is survived by her brother John (Jack) O’Masta, of North Huntingdon, sisters JaNell (Danny) Halloran, of Dravosburg, June “Missi” (John) Corbett, of North Huntingdon and Jacquelyn (Matthew) Cretella, of Barberton, Ohio; step children Rich (Nina) Toomey, of North Huntingdon, Keri (Bill) Gibbons, of Loyalhanna Woodlands, Danielle (Dave) Emerick, of Harrisburg, Mike Toomey, of Washington, PA and Gabrielle (Ryan) Pecoraro, of Trafford.  She will be missed by loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, a great grandchild, aunts, and uncles, as well as, friends and family.  Jill was abundantly caring and had a heart made for giving to others.  She loved spending time with her husband Richard building cars and enjoying long relaxing rides together on beautiful days.  Jill loved her garden, spending time outside, and creating wooden crafts.  She loved the color red, butterflies, hearts, and Valentine’s Day.  One of her biggest joys was spending time with her family, which always shined through in her smile and laugh.  She loved to give her especially “big hugs”.  Jill’s presence and kindness will never be replaced and will sorely be missed.  She will forever be in our hearts.  Jill’s life will be celebrated with a private, immediate family only services at the Robert P.
