ROBERT A. SHANDRICK

Robert A. Shandrick, age 64, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, of Dallas TX, passed away, Monday, March 30, 2020, at Middle City North Hills Hospital in Texas of the COVID-19.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Angeline (Fonzi) Shandrick, brother, Paul Shandrick, Jr. and great nephew, Cole Shandrick.  He is survived by his brother John Shandrick, sister in-law, Lisa (Dinardo) Shandrick, nephews, John Shandrick, Jr. (Caroline), Ryan Shandrick (Jessica), great niece, Violet Angeline, his loving, long-time partner of 20 years, Heath Stuteville, and many cousins and friends.Robert was born in Pittsburgh, PA, February 24, 1956.  He graduated from St. Thomas High School, Braddock, PA in 1974.  He left Pittsburgh in 1987 to pursue his career and shortly after, settled in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where he was employed as a Principal Program Manager for Sabre Airline Solutions.Robert loved his family, was proud of his nephews and thrilled to have a great niece.  Robert enjoyed tending to his many plants, was particular about his swimming pool, and loved traveling and spending time with his loving partner, Heath.  Bobby, as he was lovingly called, will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.  His funny stories will be missed and his laugh was contagious.  His laugh came from his belly and bellowed out.  He always could make you laugh.Due to today’s circumstances, a Roman Catholic Mass and a family, friend get together to celebrate Robert’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
