William J. Garboden

William J. Garboden, 76, of Swissvale passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2023.  He was born in Wilkinsburg to the late William and Lydia Garboden.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Ann Frew.  Bill enjoyed playing Santa, fishing at Duck Hollow, volunteering with Boy Scout Troop # 23, family camping, and road trips to Texas to visit family.  Bill worked with mentally challenged adults.  He retired as a Computer Operator/Programmer.  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sally (Oldham) Garboden, daughter Cassie (David) Mojica of Texas and his son Jesse W. Garboden of Swissvale; grandchildren Lugosi (Cheyenne) Mojica, Donatello Mojica, Botticelli Mojica, Valentino Mojica and Czarina Mojica, great- grandchild Salem; also, nieces and nephews.  Funeral services and burial will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 12:30 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA  15017 (Everyone please meet at the cemetery) with full military honors.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Rober P.
